S African-origin Indians Disagree Over Plan for Memorial

South Africa's KwaZulu-Natal Province, home to about 70 per cent of the country's 1.4 million citizens of Indian-origin, is to erect a monument to commemorate the arrival of the first Indians in 1860 who worked as indentured labourers on sugarcane plantations.
