Indian Art Auction in France

The auction ranges from, upcoming artists, such as Ryas Kumu, whose Karachi Series is projected to fetch from $700 to $900, to such masters as S.H. Raza, whose 1984 acrylique Rajasthan (1984) is projected to sell for almost $750,000. Raza, who was born in India in 1922 and has lived in France since the 1950’s, was the first Indian artist whose painting sold for $1 million.
