Indian American Activist Ankur Patel Makes Bid for California State Assembly
Long-time Indian American community activist Ankur Patel is making a bid for the California’s state Assembly’s 45th District seat, positioning himself as the “education candidate.”
In 2015, at the age of 29, Patel was the youngest candidate to run for a seat on the board of the Los Angeles Unified School District. He lost that race but said that has not stopped him from continuing to seek public office
