Asian Millionaires Swell

India now boasts over 100,000 millionaires. Asia-wide there are an estimated 2.6 million individuals worth over $1 million, a quarter of the world’s total, with a combined wealth of $8.4 trillion, according to the annual Asia-Pacific Wealth Report.

The number of millionaires in Singapore rose by 21 percent to 67,000, the highest growth rate in the region. India and Indonesia followed as the next two fastest-growing millionaire populations, with 20 percent and 16 percent growth respectively.
