Air Force Discharges Lesbian Indian

The United States Air Force has discharged Lt. Robin Chaurasiya under
its “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy after she revealed that she is gay. In

December, she entered into a civil union with her partner in New Hampshire.
Initially the Air Force refused to discharge Chaurasiya, concluding that she
was using her sexual orientation for “avoiding and terminating military
service.”
