Police Arrest Canadian National Living With Fake Indian Nationality Certificate

A Canadian national who had been living in India from past 15 years on forged documents was arrested by the police in Vrindavan.

A 55-year-old Canadian national who had been living in India from past 15 years on forged documents was arrested by the police on Wednesday in Vrindavan.

According to a news report in the Times of India (TOI), the accused was identified as Ryan Gladstone and has been staying as a Lord Krishna devotee in the famous Iskon Temple, Vrindavan. In 1994, he came to India to stay in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh and later, he paid Rs 30 lakh to an Indian lawyer and got a fake Indian nationality certificate.
