Waytha Moorthy’s Indian Party On Membership Drive
Waytha, who is also minister in the Prime Minister’s Department in charge of national unity and social wellbeing, had announced the formation of the party last September.
The Malaysian Advancement Party (MAP), which hopes to be the main party representing the Indian community, has embarked on a membership drive.
Its pro-tem president P Waytha Moorthy said in a statement today that an application to register MAP was filed in August, 2018, and it was awaiting approval by the Registrar of Societies.
