India ranked 134 in the World Giving Index by Charities Aid Foundation based on Gallup surveys of 195,000 people in 153 nations. China ranked 147, seventh from the bottom. Australia and New Zealand topped the survey and the United States ranked fifth. Ukraine, Burundi and Madagascar bottomed out the rankings. World Giving Index
