UK body okays Indian project as 1st ever trusted digital repository

Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, has been designated as the nodal agency for a data bank on art, humanities and cultural heritage.

The United Kingdom-based Primary Trustworthy Digital Repository Authorisation Body Limited (PTAB) has certified an Indian project as the world’s first trusted digital repository. The National Cultural Audiovisual Archives (NCAA), a project of Union culture ministry implemented by the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, is the project that bagged the global recognition.
