SRK Turns Back On US

By
Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan says he will avoid traveling to the U.S. after his humiliating ordeal at Newark’s Liberty International Airport during which he was grilled for an hour by security officials.

Ironically, 44-year-old Khan was in the U.S. to promote his latest film, My Name is Khan, about racial profiling after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks and some suspect he is using the incident as a publicity stunt to promote the movie. Khan said his treatment left him “angry and humiliated.”

“Of course I will visit the U.S. if I have to go for my work. But I will go less often. If I have three things to do, I will club them together and go just once. And certainly, I wouldn’t like to travel with my family to the U.S.’’

Another Bollywood star Salman Khan has also reportedly cancelled his upcoming U.S. tour, citing his discomfort over traveling to the United States.
