Prakash Jha Moves SC Against Aarakshan Ban

Director Prakash Jha has moved the Supreme Court seeking removal of ban on his upcoming movie Aarakshan in Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Punjab. Jha's plea will come up for hearing in the Supreme Court at 2 pm. Aarakshan released across the country on Friday except Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Punjab. Uttar Pradesh government has banned the movie for two months, fearing violence while Andhra Pradesh will decide on the release of the movie based on the decision of a special screening committee.
