Nirav Modi-Vijay Mallya Extradition: India And Britain Sign MoU on Strengthening Legal Cooperation

Even as India is seeking the extradition of liquor baron Vijay Mallya, former Indian Premier League (IPL) chief executive Lalit Modi and diamantaire Nirav Modi for financial frauds, India and Britain have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation in the areas of law and justice.
According to a statement issued by the British High Commission in Delhi on Wednesday, Law and Justice Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and British Justice Secretary David Gauke met in London this week to strengthen bilateral working further.
