Irish Giant Enters India

Irish building materials giant Cement Roadstone Holdings has bought a 50 percent stake for $450 million in a rapidly growing cement manufacturer, My Home Industries Ltd.

Hyderabad-based My Home produces 3.2 million tons of cement annually.

For Dublin-based CRH, Ireland’s largest industrial company, this is the first Indian acquisition.
