Indian Population in Qatar Touches 691,000
There will be some high-level participation of leading performers from India to celebrate Qatar-India Year of Culture which will be marked next year.
The number of Indian expatriates in the country has reached an all time high of 691,000, revealed the Indian envoy.
Speaking at a function on the occasion of ‘Bharat Utsav – A Journey through Festive Celebrations of India’, Indian ambassador P Kumaran also thanked the government of Qatar for the great support extended to the community.
