India, Georgia Sign Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement

India and Georgia on Wednesday signed a double taxation avoidance agreement (DTAA) to prevent tax evasion and exchange banking information. The agreement provides for business profits to be taxable in the source state if the activities of an enterprise constitute a permanent establishment there, a finance ministry statement said.
