An online game, titled “ICED: I Can End Deportation,” a play on the bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the government agency responsible for arresting and deporting illegal aliens, seeks to educate players about the unjustness of U.S. immigration policy.
The free game developed by Breakthrough.TV, a New York based human rights and arts group, targets high school and college students. In the game immigrant teens dodge immigration officers in pursuit of them and have to make quick moral decisions and take fact quizzes on immigration policies. |
