Halle Berry ‘Lost’ In Streets of Mumbai
The Hollywood actor has been posting pictures of her time in India on social media.
Catwoman Halle Berry is in India, her Instagram page notified the world. The Bond girl has posted a few pictures from her time in India’s financial capital. There has been no official word about her visit to the country, leaving social media users speculating whether she is here to shoot a movie.
Posting a picture of the Mumbai skyline, with apartments and chawls visible in the photograph, she wrote on Nov. 8 on her Instagram handle: “Caught a sunrise in Mumbai today.”
Berry’s vacation seems to be a gala one, during which she uploaded on Nov. 9 another picture of her on Mumbai pavement, as she walks by unnoticed by passersby, with the caption: “Take time to get lost today.”
That is not all. While Berry is in the “Maximum City,” she took time to meet Bollywood actress Dia Mirza. Mirza tweeted: “The world is getting smaller and girls are owning their place. @ananya_birla and I with the most amazing @halleberry today! What a warm, intelligent, gracious woman India loves you Halle! Can’t wait to have you back. It was such a joy speaking with you!”

Berry, it has been reported, is mesmerized by Indian culture. In the movie Cloud Atlas, which was released in 2011, she wore a sari, henna and bangles. “I want to take a step towards learning more about one of the oldest cultures in the world,” she had told the Hindustan Times while promoting the film.
The Hollywood actress even compared the movie with Indian mythology. “Most of the main characters are the reincarnations of the same soul through the six stories shown in the movie,” she was quoted as saying. “It almost resembles the Indian mythology so much; where there was Lord Rama, who came as the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu and then there were many others. Very few people have explored such themes in Hollywood.”
The X-Men star was last seen in Matthew Vaughn’s Kingsman: The Golden Circle alongside Colin Firth, and Luis Prieto’s Kidnap.
