Donald Trump’s Choice Being Hailed

Soon after the appointment of Pak, Sen. Johnny Isakson revealed that the chamber confirmed the pick in an executive session.

“President Trump’s selection of BJay Pak as U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Georgia was an excellent choice. BJay brings the passion and expertise required for this role, and I have full confidence that he will make Georgians proud as he works to protect their interests and enforce the rule of law,” Isakson said in a statement.

John Horn, the predecessor of Pak, also conveyed his greetings in a statement released by his office.

“I wish the best to my friend, BJay Pak, during what will undoubtedly be an immensely successful term as U.S. attorney. BJay’s skillful leadership and superb judgment will lead the office to even greater accomplishments, and safeguard the tradition of honor and integrity firmly established by those who served in this office before us,” said Horn.

Before serving the General Assembly, BJay Pak served as assistant attorney for the Northern District of Georgia from 2002-2008.
