A Lancaster University student shot dead in the side of the head at point blank range on a Manchester street may have been murdered for failing to give the gunman the correct time, according to a British media report.
Police are treating the murder of Anuj Bidve, 23, who arrived in Britain from Pune in September as a hate crime and have questioned five teenagers in the case.
The Daily Telegraph reported that, “A senior police source confirmed that Mr Bidve had responded “politely” to the question and there was no apparent reason for the shooting.”
