15th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Set for January 2019 in Varanasi
Organized by the Ministry of External Affairs in association with the Uttar Pradesh government, the theme of the 15th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas is “Role of Indian Diaspora in building a New India.”
The 15th annual overseas Indians’ gathering — “Pravasi Bharatiya Divas” — will be held from Jan. 21-23, 2019 in the holy city of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
The Indian diaspora will also have an option to participate in Allahabad’s Kumbha Snan and attend the Republic Day parade in New Delhi, PTI quoted an Indian embassy official as saying.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Mauritian counterpart Pravind Jugnauth will inaugurate the convention.
