Sikkim, with its breathtaking views of Himalaya, is the least populated state in India, the second smallest in size after Goa, and the last to join the Indian Union in 1975. It has the only open land border with China and Kangchenjunga, the world’s third highest mountain, is located on its border with Nepal.
