According to Portio Research’s study on Top 25 Mobile Growth Markets Worldwide, India will add 358 million mobile subscribers by 2011. And to think just a decade back trying to talk to family in India was as frustrating as placing a call to the moon, with interruptions and the famous “all circuits are busy now” refrain. Indians – and Indian Americans – believe in being in touch with their families 24/7 and that must be the reason for the cell phone revolution.
