Snap, What a Deal!

A grateful Indian village has renamed itself SnapDeal.com Nagar after SnapDeal, India’s version of Groupon, provided it with handpumps.

The company’s founder Kunal Bahl donated 15 handpumps to the village at a cost of $5,000 so villagers didn’t have to trek two miles for fresh water. Enthusiastic villagers decided to rename their village from Shiv Nagar to Snapdeal.com Nagar.

A snap of a deal for sure for a company that knows all too well about good deals.
