Subra Suresh has been sworn in as the 13th director of the National Science Foundation (NSF) after being confirmed for a 6-year term by the U.S. Senate.
Suresh, 54, who holds a bachelor’s degree from IIT Madras and a PhD from MIT, earlier served as dean of the MIT engineering school. The NSF has an annual budget of $6.9 billion. |
