India ranks as the fourth strongest emerging global retail market, according to A T Kearney, a global management consulting company.
The company “2011 Global Retail Development Index” of 30 emerging markets ranked Brazil at the top, followed by Uruguay and Chile. China, which ranked in first place in 2010, fell five spots to rank sixth. India slipped from third place to fourth.
