Drug data firm IMS Health has expanded its definition of emerging markets for prescription drug sales to 17 countries, where it expects prescription drug sales to grow by at least $1 billion between 2010 and 2015. IMS ranked the 17 emerging countries in descending order of current drug sales: China, Brazil, Russia, India, Mexico, Turkey, Venezuela, Poland, Argentina, Indonesia, Ukraine, Thailand, South Africa, Egypt, Romania, Pakistan and Vietnam. |
