Is It Going to Rain on Biden?

The Convention Clock is ticking for the Democrats. Everyone is joining in with the best they can bring.

One evangelical (Stuart Shepard of CitizenLink) is asking people to pray for rain on Invesco field on August 28th where Barack Obama will deliver his acceptance speech to an estimated crowd of some 75,000.

This is not any rain dance. They are asking for rain that is precisely targeted, on the location and on the roads that lead to the site. The rain should spare the houses and other areas where "innocents" live. But on a gathering that brings together a candidate of a different color, with one of the most impressive gatherings of homosexuals, lesbians, pro-choice and godless liberals, they are hoping for the best.

We will wait to see whether God listens to his prayers. Politics never ceases to be a circus.

As the day draws closer, there are predictions, trial balloons and predictions on the vice presidential nominee. Among the names that have survived is that of Joe Biden. Biden had gotten some flack a few years ago with Indian Americans over remarks captured on a You Tube video in which remarks "I've had a great relationship. In Delaware, the largest growth in population is Indian-Americans moving from India. You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. I'm not joking."

Biden has been uncharacteristically quiet the past several weeks. The quieter he is, the higher his stock gets in the VP stakes.
He is just back from a fact finding visit to Georgia after its recent armed conflict with Russia. We may now hear again from Biden as a VP candidate!
