Anil Ambani's Bachchan Pricetag: $400 Million

By:

Reliance Big Entertainment is reportedly working on a $400 million deal with the Bachchans involving film production, television series, reality and live shows, internet and mobile content.

Reliance will manage, market and distribute the content created by the Bachchans. A Reliance spokesman said, "We are confident that the creative genius of the Bachchans and the business acumen of Reliance will create magic and take entertainment to a different level."
Amitabh Bachchan said, "We will provide the creative inputs and also share the profits. As of now, we plan to start with film projects and work in a way that will benefit us mutually."

Reliance Entertainment is also in talks for a $600 million equity investment in a $2 billion venture with Steven Spielberg's DreamWorks SKG.
